Peggy DeBlois was born and raised in Lewiston, Maine, and is a proud graduate of Bowdoin College. Inspired by the gritty beauty of her hometown, The Toll Road North is her first novel. Her next book, In the Shadow of the Smokestack, is coming out this summer in 2026!
